A Healthy Dose of Humour returned with its first show of 2026 at the Harlow Playhouse on Wednesday 18th March.

An evening of honest conversation around all things Men’s Mental Health & Wellbeing .

Having previously visited Chelmsford, Halstead & Rochford over the past two years, it was time to head to West Essex.

The night in partnership with Healthwatch Essex Fella’s Fair & Essex County Council delivered an impactful evening of Men’s Health & Awareness.

The Playhouse hosted local support services in and around the Theatre - The Forward Trust, West Essex Mind, Break Even & Essex Recovery Foundation were on hand to talk about their services.

The Harlow Playhouse provided the perfect setting for the extremely important conversations to come on evening, with guest speakers Steve Lawson from Essex Recovery Foundation & Chris Gilham from Gambling Harm UK .

Topics included Addiction, Gambling Harm & ADHD. The open and honest conversations on stage set up an extremely honest panel section, with an audience Q & A.

After the interval the guests were treated to a masterclass in Stand-Up Comedy with Stefano Paolini & Mike Gunn. The laughter ech’ed round the Theatre, bringing this incredible evening to a close.
