Thank You for Joining Us: Armed Forces Mental Health & Comedy Night

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Colchester Arts Centre on Monday 10th August for our Armed Forces Mental Health & Comedy Night.

Host Martyn Davies & Claire Lilly Founder of the Forcer Protocol

What a fantastic evening it was — bringing people together through comedy, conversation and community, while shining a light on the importance of mental health within the Armed Forces community.

Comedian Tim Clark

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who came along, laughed with us, shared the evening and helped create such a warm and supportive atmosphere. Events like this remind us that talking about mental health doesn’t always have to be serious or intimidating. Sometimes, a room full of people laughing together can be the perfect place to start a conversation.

A massive thank you also goes to all of the comedians, performers, speakers, volunteers and everyone behind the scenes who helped make the night possible. Your time, energy and support made a real difference.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who continues to speak openly about mental health, support others and help break down the stigma. Whether you came to watch, perform, volunteer, support a friend or simply be part of the evening, you helped make it a success.

We hope you enjoyed the night as much as we did — and that you left with a few laughs, some great memories and perhaps a reminder that none of us have to face things alone.

Thank you, Colchester. ❤️

Here’s to more laughter, more conversations and more support for the Armed Forces community.
